The bus und Service AG (formerly city bus Chur AG), headquartered in Chur is a Grisons bus companies in the leisure and commuter traffic. With Chur Bus and Engadin Bus, it operates two bus companies in Graubünden and is responsible for the fine distribution of public transport in the city of Chur and the surrounding area as well as in the Upper Engadin . Since summer 2018, the flight bus has also been connecting south-eastern Switzerland with Zurich Airport during off-peak times . The around 167 employees and a total of 47 vehicles in the regular service of Bus und Service AG (BuS AG for short) transport over 9 million passengers annually in Graubünden.

1995 In August 1995 the Chur municipal council decided to convert the previous administrative department into a stock corporation . Stadtbus Chur AG (SBC AG) is founded on October 13, 1995.
1996 Operations began on January 1, 1996. On the bus network in Chur, the buses are on their way for the first time in a regular schedule. The company gets a new look with the introduction of dr Bus vu Chur.
1997 SBC AG is the first Swiss transport company to introduce contactless ticketing (ChipCard). The first ten full low-floor buses run in Chur. Stadtbus Chur AG buys the bus parking facility in Kalchbühl.
1998 All buses are equipped with a computer system for interior display / announcement. SBC AG is now running the night buses to Trimmis / Untervaz / Malans / Maienfeld. The introduction of a tangential line is being examined.
1999 SBC AG wins the tender for bus operation in the Upper Engadine. Operations will start on November 22nd. The TransReno tariff community is introduced in the Chur Rhine Valley.
2000 Flat screens will be built into the buses for the new passenger information system. Passengers can be informed of delays. Thanks to Engadin Bus, sales rose from CHF 7 to 15 million.
2001 The first articulated buses are procured and put into operation.
2002 The control system "POIS" is put into operation. SBC AG is establishing a marketing platform for public transport advertising.
2003 A capital increase and an issue of shares to communities in the Graubünden Rhine Valley and in the Upper Engadin district were carried out. The contract in the Upper Engadin is being extended. The Alpine Ski World Cup takes place in St. Moritz .
2004 A pilot project for ticketing with the EngadinCard is taking place at Engadin Bus.
2005 The i-Qube timetable display will be installed at important stops in Chur. In the Engadin, Engadin Bus takes over the PostBus workshop .
2006 The newly rebuilt Chur train station goes into operation. Dr Bus vu Chur receives new bus locks. Together with RhB and Chur Tourismus, they move into the new sales rooms in Chur train station.
2007 The integral tariff association (ITV) for public transport is introduced in the Upper Engadin . Timetables can now be requested via mobile phone using WAP timetable information.
2008 There is a serious accident with a semi-trailer truck in the Engadine. In the same year two Solaris buses burn. The engine compartment of the Solaris bus fleet is then converted to fire-proof by the manufacturer. The Upper Engadin operating contract is extended to 2014.
2009 A signal for preferential public transport will be installed at the Sommerau intersection. On weekends, additional night buses leave at 3.15 a.m. A free bus for the Upper Engadin is being tested in the Engadin.
2010 The i-Qube timetable display will also be installed in the Engadin. A night driving group is created in Chur. With the partner login, the company is training two commercial apprentices for the first time.
2011 The Upper Engadin operating contract will be extended until 2020. SBC AG procures buses with new drive technologies ( hybrid and electric). Employees receive separate allowances for Sunday and night work, previously these were included in their wages.
2012 A structural survey is carried out in the engadin mobil tariff association. A shuttle bus service is being tested for public holiday traffic in Chur on November 1st.
2013 In the Masanserstrasse, the Bus vu Chur gets a bus lane. The validity of the Chur city pass is extended to Felsberg . The canton road in the direction of Ems is flooded by a rüfe, so the Emserstrasse has to be bypassed for twelve days via Waffenplatz - Felsberg and the timetable has to be adjusted.
2014 Negotiations on the first company employment contract are held with the social partner SEV trade union. The Upper Engadin District Council is canceling line 5 on the 15/16 timetable change for cost reasons .
2015 The company employment contract will be introduced on January 1st. In Chur, the upper Bahnhofstrasse will be free of traffic and all bus routes will be adapted. The Board of Directors is developing the 2020 strategy. Engadin mobil's management tender was won and will be continued.
2016 The operations control system POIS was the new control system replaced RBL / ITT. The new system provides information on the location and departure time in real time. After the system was successfully introduced at Bus vu Chur, the buses in the Engadin now also use the new control system.
2017 With the FAIRTIQ , the easiest ticket in Switzerland was introduced in the Engadin market and in the city of Chur. Thanks to the new public transport live timetable app, customers receive real-time data on the departure of the next bus around the clock. The Chur Bus as well as the Engadin Bus are now present on social media. All employees work with a public transport tablet for internal process optimization.
2018 The new brand strategy focuses on the Chur Bus and Engadin Bus products. The "Stadtbus Chur AG" is converted into the "Bus und Service AG". As a new service, an early and late connection between Chur and Zurich Airport is being tested - the flight bus
