The Bystry Potok (German: Schneller Bach ) is a tributary of the Olsa , which belongs to the river system of the Oder . The river has its source on the south-western slopes of the Silesian Beskids near the Kiczory and Kyrkawica peaks in Jaworzynka and flows into the Olsa. It has the character of a mountain river. The Bystry Potok is one of the few rivers in the Beskids and the Polish Carpathians as a whole, which does not drain to the east via the Vistula , but to the west via the Oder into the Baltic Sea. The Polish-Czech border runs along the river.
