Cédric Barbosa (born March 6, 1976 in Aubenas ) is a former French football player . The midfielder made 330 appearances in Ligue 1 .
Career
Barbosa began his career in 1992 at Olympique Alès and moved up there in 1994 to the professional team. In 1997 he moved to HSC Montpellier . On August 2, 1997 he came in the 1-1 draw against Racing Strasbourg to his division 1 debut when he came on in the 74th minute for Sylvain Deplace . He scored his first goal on October 3, 1998 in the home game against FC Lorient to make it 5-1 in the 90th minute. In 2003 he went to league rivals Stade Rennes , in 2006 he was active for one year for ES Troyes AC . For the 2007/08 season he moved to FC Metz . The club was relegated to Ligue 2 in the season , but Barbosa remained loyal to him. After a year in the second division, he went to FC Évian Thonon Gaillard , a third-rate club at that time . After two consecutive promotions in the 2009/10 seasons as Division 3 champions and 2010/11 as Ligue 2 champions, he played with the club in Ligue 1 from the 2011/12 season in the 2014/15 and 2015 seasons / 16 were followed by two relegations, so that Barbosa has been playing third class with Évian since the 2016/17 season. In September 2016 Barbosa left Evian and joined the fourth division club FC Annecy . From September 2018 to the end of June 2019, he let his career end with fifth division Olympique Alès.
