Cédric Collet (born March 7, 1984 in Brétigny-sur-Orge ) is a French football player . He last played in 2013/14 in the French second division for the US Créteil .

Career

Collet began his career in the youth of CS Sedan , from which he was brought into the first team in 2002. In his first season, the left midfielder played in Ligue 1 . Sedan was relegated third from bottom of the top French league. In the following season, he was used again once, the club finished fifth in Ligue 2 . In 2004 he moved to SO Romorantin , which he left again in 2005. From 2005 to 2007 he was under contract with FC Tours . 2005/06 the promotion could be fixed with the second place in the third division.

The following year Tours rose from bottom of the table again, ultimately missing a total of 18 points to keep the league. After that, Collet moved to Stade Brest . There the club was seventh at the end of the season.

At the beginning of the 2008/09 season he went to Belgium and signed with RAEC Mons . Again Collet was relegated with a club, again the club was last, this time from the top Belgian league. In 2009 he switched to the Belgian champions Standard Liège , where he was able to book three appearances in 2009/10. Les Rouches finished eighth in the regular season. In the play-offs for the Europa League, the team took second place in Group B. In 2010 he returned to France, where he played for AS Beauvais for a year and then for Stade Reims . In 2012, Collet moved to SC Beira-Mar in Portugal and only one year later returned to France to join US Créteil . He has not appeared as a player at any club since 2014.

Collet made thirteen caps for Guadeloupe football from 2008 to 2011 and scored one goal.
