Célia Merle (born March 18, 1999 in Clermont-Ferrand ) is a French triathlete and duathlete . She is Junior State Champion Aquathlon (2016).

Career

Célia Merle became Junior State Champion Aquathlon in July 2016. In April 2017, she was also the French Vice State Champion Juniors in Duathlon.

In July 2018, the 19-year-old finished seventh in the European Junior Championships in Estonia on the triathlon sprint distance (750 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running).

Célia Merle lives in Montpellier . Her sister, Audrey Merle (* 1995), who is four years older than her, is also successful as a triathlete and competed for France at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
