CAB Jubilee Tournament 1993/94
The CAB Jubilee Tournament 1993/94 (also Hero Cup 1993/94 ) was a five-nation tournament that was held from November 7 to November 27, 1993 in the West Indies in one-day cricket . It was held for the 60th anniversary of the Bengali Cricket Association. In the tournament belonging to the international cricket season 1993/94 , teams from Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka , South Africa and the West Indies took part alongside the host . In the final India was able to prevail against the West Indies with 102 runs.
prehistory
Sri Lanka and the West Indies previously played a three-nation tournament with Pakistan in the United Arab Emirates , for the other teams it was the first tour of the season.
format
In a preliminary round, each team played each other once. There were two points for a win and one point for a draw or no result. The four group winners qualified for the semi-finals, the winners of which played for the tournament victory in the final.
