Caesar DiMauro

Caesar DiMauro (* around 1925, † around 1990) was an American jazz and orchestral musician ( tenor saxophone , oboe ).

Caesar DiMauro worked in the 1950s a. a. (with Dave Schildkraut , Al Cohn , Gene DiNovi , Chuck Wayne , Clyde Lombardi and Sonny Igoe ) in Tony Bennett's backing band ("Old Devil Moon", "Give Me The Simple Life", Columbia 1954). Further recordings were made in July 1957 when he was a member of the Chuck Wayne Orchestra ( String Fever , Vik Records). As an oboist, he also played in classical ensembles The Staten Island Chamber Music Players . In 1988 he performed with his own jazz ensemble in a New York club.
