action
Everyday and wondrous things go on in a coffee shop in Philadelphia . The clerk Todd wants to win over the clerk Claire for himself and he does it. A writer quietly observing in the background turns out to be the owner of the café. A social worker has two different applicants for a job and ultimately hires both. The computer geek Craig meets God in the form of the girl Elly. When a drug dealer tries to counter his arrest with his pistol, he and his pregnant girlfriend are shot down. The clerk Claire was also killed beforehand and her killer Tommy killed himself.
Since the girl Elly is impressed by Craig's willingness to make sacrifices, she resurrects all those killed.
criticism
The website Kino.de describes the film as follows: "Oscillates between a classically appropriate student old manesque and a raised mystery riddle, some even read a religious parable here."
