The Caleta Le Dantec ( Spanish ; in Argentina Caleta Bianchi ) is a bay on the south coast of Joinville Island off the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 11 km east-southeast of Mount Alexander .
Chilean scientists named it after Fernando Le Dantec Gallardo, officer of the Piloto Pardo during hydrographic surveys of this area in 1971. The name giver of the Argentine name has not been passed down.
