Calling Card is the sixth studio album of Rory Gallagher .

production

The album was released on October 1, 1976 by Chrysalis Records. It is the only album that Rory Gallagher did not produce alone. Co-producer was Roger Glover , whom he already knew well from a previous US tour with Deep Purple . This also shaped the style of the album, which now not only contained blues rock elements, but also approached hard rock. However, this development had already become apparent on the previous album Against the Grain .
