Calystegia pellita is a plant type from the genus of calystegia ( Calystegia ) from the family of wind plants (Convolvulaceae). The species is common in Asia .
description
Calystegia pellita is a bindweed with attached hair, which can also be tomentose. The stems are prostrate to slightly climbing or more or less upright, they can reach lengths of up to 1 m. The leaves are stalked with a 1 to 12 mm long petiole . The leaf blade is narrowly triangular to elongated, 3 to 7 cm long and just as wide. The leaves are unlapped or only slightly spear-shaped or lobed. The lobes do not reach 1/4 the length of the midrib.
The inflorescence stalks are hairy and do not protrude beyond the surrounding leaves. The bracts are 1.3 to 2.4 cm long and 1 to 1.8 cm wide, their tip is pointed to blunt. The crown is purple and 4.4 to 5.5 cm long. The stamens are 2.5 to 3.3 cm long, the anthers about 5 mm (only rarely up to 6 mm).
distribution
The species is common in the People's Republic of China , Korea , Russia, and possibly Mongolia . It grows in grassy areas and mountain slopes at altitudes of mostly 300 to 700 m, but occasionally also occurs up to 1700 m. Occasionally it can be found as a weed on cultivated areas.
Systematics
One can distinguish three subspecies:
- Calystegia pellita subsp. longifolia Brummitt : It occurs from eastern China to Korea.
- Calystegia pellita subsp. pellita : It occurs from southern Siberia to northeastern China.
- Calystegia pellita subsp. stricta Brummitt : It occurs from southern, Far Eastern Asiatic Russia to northern Korea.
