Camacha is a municipality in the Santa Cruz district on the Portuguese island of Madeira .

Camacha is the center of Madeiran basket weaving. It is also known for its annual apple festival and folklore events.

Camacha has an area of ​​19.8 km² and 7449 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). The population density is 376.8 inhabitants / km².
