Villa Abecia (also short Abecia ) (another name: Camataqui ) is a village in Chuquisaca in the South American Andes -State Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Villa Abecia is the central place of the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Villa Abecia and seat of the administration of the province Sud Cinti . The village lies on the border with the Tarija department at an altitude of 2311 m on the northern foothills of the Sierra San Roque in a side valley of the Río Pilaya , a right tributary of the Río Pilcomayo .

Villa Abecia is located on the southwestern foothills of the Bolivian Cordillera Central , between the Altiplano in the west and the Bolivian lowlands in the east. The climate is a cool, moderate mountain climate with a typical time of day climate , in which the mean temperature differences fluctuate more strongly during the day than during the year.
