The Cameron River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland . It does not have water all year round, but only during the rainy season .

River course

The river has its source on the southeast slopes of the Mount Godkin Range , about 60 kilometers west of Cloncurry and north of the Flinders Highway . The Cameron River flows northeast parallel to the Corella River along the southeast side of the mountain range and then turns east. It flows south of Corella Park into the Corella River.
