Camphor oxime is an oxime and an intermediate in the pharmaceutical industry. The smell is similar to that of camphor .
Extraction and presentation
Camphor oxime is produced by a condensation reaction (analogous to the formation of imines ) from camphor and hydroxylamine hydrochloride .
