Cao Biao

Cáo Biāo ( Chinese  曹 彪 , Pinyin Cáo Biāo , IPA ( standard Chinese) [ [tsʰɑo̯35 b̥i̯ɑo̯5] ], W.-G. Ts'ao Piao ; 朱 虎 , Zhūhŭ , Chu-hŭ ; * 195 ; † 251 ) was a son of Chinese warlords Cao Cao in the Three kingdoms period .

As the son of a minor concubine , he had no special significance at court. He was in danger when the Wei General Wang Ling had been planning to use him as emperor in place of Cao Fang since 249 . The regent Sima Yi foiled the plan in 251, but spared Cao Biao.

Cao Biao had a son: Cao Jia ( Chinese  曹 嘉 ).
