Caradoc Evans
Caradoc Evans (born December 31, 1878 in Pantycroi , ( Llanfihangel-ar-Arth , Carmarthenshire ), † January 11, 1945 in Aberystwyth , Cardiganshire ) was a Welsh writer.
Life
He was born the son of an auctioneer and grew up in Cardiganshire. After attending primary school, he began an apprenticeship with a cloth merchant in 1893. He later worked as a shop assistant in Barry , Cardiff and London . In London he attended evening school and worked as a journalist from 1906 . This was followed by an activity as editor or co-editor of various magazines and weekly newspapers as well as working as a freelance writer. In 1939 he returned to Wales.
He wrote short stories and novels.
