Carin Strömberg (born July 10, 1993 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish handball player .
Career
Carin Strömberg began playing handball at Skuru IK , for which she was active for a total of 17 years. The backcourt player played with the women's team from Skuru in the Elitserien and in three seasons in the European Cup. In summer 2016, she moved to the Danish first division club Viborg HK .
Strömberg won the U-18 women's handball championship with Sweden in 2010 and the U-20 women's handball championship in 2012 . At the U-18 World Cup in 2010 she was elected MVP . She is currently a member of the Swedish national team , for which she has scored 103 goals in 88 international matches . With Sweden, she finished ninth at the 2015 World Cup . She also took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , the 2016 European Championship , the 2017 World Championship and the 2018 European Championship .
