Carina Round (born April 20, 1979 in Wolverhampton ) is a British rock singer , songwriter , guitarist and musician.

Musical career

Carina Round began her career with numerous live appearances in clubs in the Birmingham area . The first appearance as a band took place in 1996 at the Birmingham Songwriters Festival as opening act for Coldplay .

The first two albums The First Blood Mystery and The Disconnection were made in England while Carina Round moved to LA in 2005 to produce Slow Motion Addict with Glen Ballard under the major label Interscope . Music videos for 12 of the 13 songs on the 2007 album make up the film Slow Motion Addict , which was directed by Jesse Davey.

After separation from the major label in 2009 which was Things You Should Know-EP and the fourth album 1 May 2012 Tigermending published, the latter under their own label dehisce Records . On this album she worked with Dave Stewart , Brian Eno ('The Secret of Drowning') and Billy Corgan ('Got To Go -2000 years BC mix'), among others .
