Carl-Franz Deninger

Carl-Franz Julius Deninger (born September 9, 1827 in Mainz , † June 1, 1895 ibid) was a German chemist , leather manufacturer and member of the 1st Chamber of the Estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Carl-Franz Deninger was the son of the factory owner and MP Carl Friedrich Bernhard Deninger (1800-1856) and his wife Katharina nee Dahm (1809-1861). Carl-Franz Deninger, who was a Protestant denomination, married on May 19, 1851 in Mainz Katharina Wilhelmine born Hänlein (1827-1887), the widow of Karl Noerpel and daughter of the market ship in Mainz Wilhelm Hänlein I (1783-1848), and the Therese Briclo (1786–1881) from Selters.

Carl-Franz Deninger studied chemistry from 1844 at the University of Giessen . During his studies he became a member of the Allemannia Gießen fraternity in 1844 and of the Rhenania Gießen fraternity in 1845 . After completing his studies, he joined his father's factory in 1847 and became a partner in 1856. In 1889 the company was converted into an AG and he became a member of the board. In 1872 he was given the title of Commerce Councilor, and in 1874 that of a Secret Commerce Councilor .

From 1873 to 1884 he was an appointed member for life of the 1st Chamber of the State Parliament of the Grand Duchy of Hesse. In 1884 he renounced the mandate.
