Carl-Johan Fogelklou
Carl-Johan "Peter Crispin" Fogelklou (born August 15, 1980 in Uppsala ) is a Swedish musician (bass, vocals). He is the bass player for the Swedish band Mando Diao.

Carl-Johan Peter Crispin Fogelklou, bassist of the Swedish rock band Mando Diao was born on August 15, 1980 in Uppsala (Sweden) to Peter and Gunnel Fogelklou and is known to his fans as CJ. He has a sister named Lotta. At the age of two, CJ and his family moved to Sigtuna near Stockholm.
Carl-Johan was interested in playing the guitar at a young age; his favorite band and inspiration was the rock band Guns N 'Roses . After receiving his first instrument as a birthday present, he played in various bands and at school gigs. He was encouraged by a teacher at his school who gave him guitar lessons.
After high school, Carl-Johan studied music in Falun, and there he met Mando Diao's drummer, Samuel Giers , at a party , who immediately wanted him to be part of the band. CJ became a full-time musician and graduated from the highly regarded music school.
Fogelklou, a vegetarian whose hobbies include cooking and wine, got along well with his new bandmates from the start. According to Gustaf Norén, he was hired because he looked like John Lennon and played guitar like Paul McCartney.
In 2000, Mando Diao had the composition that made the band famous: Gustaf Norén and Björn Dixgård as front men (guitar, vocals), Daniel Haglund on keyboards, Carl-Johan Fogelklou on bass, Samuel Giers on drums. Daniel Haglund left the band in 2004 and was replaced by Mats Björke .
In the beginning, the band toured Sweden and played in small locations and bars, but soon followed by appearances all over Europe, the USA and Japan. Each Mando Diao album has been a bigger success than the previous one. Today Mando Diao is one of the most famous Swedish music groups.
Mando Diao achieved his greatest success in his native Sweden with the album Infruset , a setting of poems by the Swedish poet Gustaf Fröding , in 2012.
On the first album by Mando Diao after Gustaf Norén left in 2015, Good Times (2017), Carl-Johan appeared for the first time as a songwriter.
In April 2018 Carl-Johan Fogelklou released an album together with Hanna Dahlberg Leuhusen as Hanna & CJ on Spotify, "The Story Of Life".
