Carl Adams (mathematician)
Carl Adams (born January 15, 1811 in Merscheid , † November 14, 1849 in Winterthur ) was a German mathematician and teacher .
Career
Carl Adams initially worked as a teacher in Trogen and from 1836 as a mathematics and physics teacher at the Winterthur trade school and, in the meantime, at the industrial school . With his monographs he made significant contributions to the introduction of the newer geometry in high schools and trade schools.
