Carl Börner (sculptor)
Carl Börner (born June 29, 1828 in Niederwiesa , Silesia, † April 19, 1905 in Hamburg ) was a German sculptor .
Börner came to Hamburg in the early 1860s to complete the Schiller Monument begun by Julius Lippelt . The bronze casting was then taken over by G. Schultz's foundry, which was founded for this purpose. He was a member of the Hamburg Artists' Association from 1832 .
