Carl Baer

Carl Anton Ernst Baer (born October 24, 1833 in Bruchsal ; † May 8, 1896 in Montreux ) was a lawyer and member of the Reichstag .

Life

Baer attended high school in Bruchsal and the lyceum in Karlsruhe and then studied at the University of Heidelberg Law . He became a member of the Corps Suevia Heidelberg . In 1857 Baer became a trainee lawyer, 1860 trainee lawyer, 1861 auditor, 1864 district judge, 1866 bailiff, 1867 district judge, 1868 district judge in Mannheim and 1876 member of the appellate court senate. He was also a lieutenant from 1859 and a captain in 1870.

From 1874 to 1880 he was a member of the Second Baden Chamber and from 1874 to 1879 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party as a member of the constituency of Baden 7 ( Kehl - Offenburg ). On October 4, 1879, Baer resigned his mandate because of his appointment to the Higher Regional Court.
