Carl Friedrich Daubenspeck (born February 9, 1857 in Roermond , Duchy of Limburg , German Confederation , † 1931 in Düsseldorf ) was a German landscape painter from the Düsseldorf School .

Life

Daubenspeck took private lessons from 1883 to 1890 with the Düsseldorf landscape painters Otto Strützel , Hugo Mühlig and Georg Macco . Until his death he lived in Düsseldorf, where he belonged to the artists' association Malkasten from 1891 and was regularly represented at art exhibitions. Daubenspeck went on study trips to the Lower Rhine , the Rhön and the southern Harz . He repeatedly visited the Willingshausen painters' colony .
