Carl Lill
Friedrich Carl Alexander Lill (born April 2, 1807 in Frankfurt am Main ; † March 22, 1879 there ) was a German painter , draftsman and lithographer .
Life
Lill worked in Hanover from 1827 . From there he later came to Hamburg and created illustrations and Hamburgensien for the Suhr'sche lithographic institute . In addition to his depictions of Hamburg costumes and his portraits, his work is also of architectural historical importance due to the views of Hamburg before the Hamburg fire . In 1848 he made a lithograph with the title “German National Constitutional Assembly in the Paulskirche in Frankfurt a. M. “(Inv. No. C 12527 Frankfurt a. M., Historical Museum).
