Carlo Azzini (born July 19, 1935 in Soresina ; † January 12, 2020 there ) was an Italian racing cyclist .

Athletic career

Carlo Azzini was a professional driver from 1958 to 1964. During these years he competed four times in the Giro d'Italia and twice in the Tour de France . His best placement was 28th place at the Giro d'Italia in 1958 . In the same year he won the Giro di Sicilia and was twelfth overall in the Tour de Suisse . He came in sixth in the 1961 Swiss Tour .

In 1964 Azzini ended his cycling career. He died in January 2020 at the age of 84 in his hometown of Soresina.
