Carlos Tomás Morel Diplán
Carlos Tomás Morel Diplán (born November 2, 1969 in Monte de la Jagua , Espaillat Province , Dominican Republic ) is a Dominican clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Santiago de los Caballeros .
Life
Carlos Tomás Morel Diplán received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Santiago de los Caballeros on June 24, 2000 .
Pope Francis appointed him titular bishop of Buxentum and auxiliary bishop in Santiago de los Caballeros on December 14, 2016 . The bishop emeritus of Barahona , Rafael Leónidas Felipe y Núñez , donated him episcopal ordination on February 25 of the following year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Santiago de los Caballeros, Freddy Antonio de Jesús Bretón Martínez , and the Apostolic Nuncio to the Dominican Republic, Archbishop Jude Thaddeus Okolo .
