Freddy Antonio de Jesús Bretón Martínez (born October 15, 1947 in Licey ) is Archbishop of Santiago de los Caballeros .
Life
Freddy Antonio de Jesús Bretón Martínez was ordained a priest on September 10, 1977 .
Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Baní on August 6, 1998 . The Archbishop of Santo Domingo , Nicolás de Jesús Cardinal López Rodríguez , donated him episcopal ordination on September 19 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were François Robert Bacqué , Apostolic Nuncio in the Dominican Republic , and Juan Antonio Flores Santana , Archbishop of Santiago de los Caballeros .
Pope Francis appointed him Archbishop of Santiago de los Caballeros on February 23, 2015. The inauguration took place on April 18 of the same year.
