Víctor Emilio Masalles Pere
Víctor Emilio Masalles Pere (born June 29, 1961 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Baní .
Life
The Archbishop of Santo Domingo and Military Bishop of the Dominican Republic , Cardinal Nicolás de Jesús López Rodríguez , ordained him on July 7, 1991 as a priest .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on May 8, 2010 titular bishop of Girba and auxiliary bishop in Santo Domingo. The Archbishop of Santo Domingo, Nicolás de Jesús Cardinal López Rodríguez, donated him episcopal ordination on June 29 of the same year ; Co -consecrators were Archbishop Józef Wesołowski , Apostolic Nuncio in the Dominican Republic , and Jesús María de Jesús Moya , Bishop of San Francisco de Macorís .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Baní on December 14, 2016. The inauguration took place on February 11 of the following year.
