Christoph Schwarz - Detective of the Supernatural is a radio play series for adults that has been published by Romantruhe since 2009. It is based on the eponymous series of novels by Gunter Arentzen .

The adventures are told by Christoph Schwarz, who still works as a police officer at the beginning of the series. After the mysterious events of the first episode, he quits his job and appears in the later episodes as a private detective for cases with a supernatural background. He is supported in this by his former partner in the police force, Conny Blank, and his partner Nadine Weyer, a historian.
The series takes place in different locations in Germany.

The first three episodes were produced by the independent label Hörfabrik.
With episode 4, the Studio WinterZeit took over, since then Markus Winter has been editing the novels according to the specifications of the original author Gunter Arentzen. The accompanying changes include the elimination of spoken location and time announcements, and since then only professional speakers have been used, which was not the case for the first three episodes.
The cover illustrations are all in black and white and underline the gloomy atmosphere of the radio plays. They come from Alexander von Wieding.
Since March 2013, new episodes by Christoph Schwarz have been released as part of the Geister-Schocker radio play series .
