Geister-Schocker is a German radio play series . The series is produced by various producers (including Stein / Hardt and Allscore, as well as WinterZeit in the beginning) on ​​behalf of Romantruhe Audio . history

The ghost shockers are in the tradition of the B-movie , trash and pulp genres. Many of the stories on which the radio plays are based appeared in the Ghost Crime series in the 1970s and were written by well-known genre authors such as Jason Dark , AF Morland, Earl Warren and Wolfgang Hohlbein.

In autumn 2009, WinterZeit took over the production of the ghost shockers . Since episode 4, Markus Winter has been in charge of the series as an editor, from episode 6 he also wrote the dialogue books based on the templates. This was accompanied by a complete makeover of the entire appearance of the series. From 2012, the stories were increasingly implemented by other producers, including Gerd Naumann and Tom Steinbrecher.

Since 2011, the radio play series about the demon hunter Malcolm Max has been continued within the Geister-Schocker series . The first two episodes were originally produced for the new edition of the comic Ghost Stories and were included with it.

In July 2012 it was announced that in the future, radio plays on the novel series Alan Demore - Knights of Light by Benjamin Cook will be published as part of the Geister-Schocker series . In fact, the first radio play about Alan Demore was released on January 11, 2013 as episode 35 with the title Undead . Alan Demore is spoken by Jens Wendland.

Since March 2013 new episodes of the previously independent series Christoph Schwarz - Detective of the Supernatural as part of the Geister-Schocker series have been released .
