Carré Otis
Carré Otis (born September 28, 1968 in San Francisco , California ) is an American model and former actress .
Life
Otis was born in San Francisco. She grew up in Marin County, California with siblings Chrisse and Jordan. At the age of 16, she began working as a model in San Francisco. It was brokered through the Elite Model Management agency . She made the cover of French Elle in April 1986. She has been featured on the covers of Vogue , Harper's Bazaar , Cosmopolitan , Allure , Mirabella and Marie Claire .
She advertised GuessJeans (1988), Calvin Klein Jeans (1991), and appeared on the Pirelli calendar in 1996 and on the cover of Sports Illustrated (2000). Otis was featured in Playboy magazine in 1990 and 2000 .
Became famous for the "schauspielernde Model" in late 1989 by the feature film Wild Orchid , where they on the side of Mickey Rourke the role of Emily Reed played. Two years later, on June 26, 1992, she married Rourke. After the marriage was divorced in December 1998, Otis said he was at a rock bottom. Marked by years of drug use and after heart surgery, she radically changed her life. In 2005 she married Matthew Sutton. The two have two children.
