After the death of his father, Zeitlinger took over his Blumau scythe factory. In addition to the famous scythe sign “Zwei Strawknife”, he introduced new brands (“Stiefel” and “St. Wolfgang”), expanded production and had the neighboring Schenkermühle converted into another scythe mill just a few years before his death. Successors in the company were his sons Michael and Kaspar after Zeitlinger's death . His daughter Julie Serafine, in turn, married her cousin, Caspar Zeitlinger , who was related at the same time , at Scythe at the Gradnwerk in Micheldorf .
