Cassandra Engel (born January 31, 1986 in Lutherstadt Wittenberg ) is a former German handball player .

Career

Cassandra Engel played in her youth at SV Blau-Rot Coswig and SV Union Halle-Neustadt . In 2003 she moved to the second division HSG Blomberg-Lippe , with whom she was promoted to the first division in 2006. From 2008 to 2011, the 1.80 meter tall backcourt player ran for VfL Sindelfingen , with whom she also achieved promotion to League 1 in 2009, then she joined TuS Metzingen . With the TusSies , she rose to the Bundesliga for the third time in her career in 2012. After the 2014/15 season, she ended her career.
