Cassibile is a fraction (district) of Syracuse in Sicily . Cassibile has about 4500 inhabitants, who mainly work in agriculture or in factories in Syracuse.

Cassibile is about 15 km south of the city ​​center of Syracuse. The A18 runs through the town, which connects Syracuse in the northeast with Noto and Rosolini in the southwest and which will later be continued along the Sicilian south coast to Gela (as of June 2013). The river Cassibile , which the Greeks called Kakyparis, flows a little south of the village .
