Catherine Mary Stewart (* 22. April 1959 in Edmonton , Alberta as Catherine Mary Nursall ) is a Canadian actress .

Career

Her first role on television was the impersonation of Kayla Brady in the soap opera Zeit der Sehnsucht . In 1984 she played the role of Maggie Gordon in the science fiction film The Last Starfighter . She also starred in Always Trouble with Bernie and in some episodes of the soap opera Springfield Story .

Catherine Mary Stewart had some guest appearances in TV series such as Knight-Rider , Hotel , Alfred Hitchcock Presents , Outer Limits and directed the television film from the Nero Wolfe series Murder by the Book .

Stewart was married to actor and photographer John Findlater from 1983 and later to producer Richard Allerton. She has two children from her second marriage.
