Catherine Spaak (born April 3, 1945 in Boulogne-Billancourt near Paris ) is a French-Italian actress and journalist .

Life

She got into small roles at an early age and was known as a lolita-like seductress through the lead role in the film When Girls Become Women .

She soon moved to Rome, where she continued to build on the film cliché with Alluring Innocence . At the same time, the gossip press reported on her in this way, constantly pointing out that she was the niece of the Belgian Prime Minister. She later appeared in many Italian comedies and also acted in theater on the side.

At International Film it was only rarely used. Her appearance in the Hollywood production Hotel , where she played Rod Taylor's lover, remained an episode.

Spaak is the daughter of screenwriter Charles Spaak , sister of actress Agnès Spaak and niece of resistance fighter Suzanne Spaak and Belgian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Paul-Henri Spaak .

Catherine Spaak was married to the Italian actor Fabrizio Capucci for 14 months in 1963/64 . Because of him, after six months of teaching with the Jesuit priest Virginio Rotondi , she converted to Catholicism. The marriage resulted in daughter Sabrina Capucci (* 1963), who also became an actress. This marriage was also followed suspiciously with raised index fingers in the tabloids from the start, promoted effectively by those affected.
