life and career

Groetzki started playing handball at the age of three. While she was initially active in gymnastics and equestrian sports, she decided to play ball at the age of 14. In her youth she played for SG Pforzheim / Eutingen. At the age of 16 she went to the DJK / MJC Trier , where she was used in the second team in the third division. After three years, the 1.70 m tall back player moved to the second division HSG Bensheim / Auerbach , with whom she competed in the 1st Bundesliga in the 2013/14 season. After the 2014/15 season, she ended her career.

Her brother Patrick Groetzki is a national handball player.
