Cave Vinicole de Cléebourg
The Vinicole de Cléebourg or Cave Vinicole de Cléebourg is an Alsatian wine cooperative in Lower Alsace in the municipality of Cleebourg .

The cooperative's farm buildings are located on the northern edge of the municipality between the municipalities of Cleebourg and Oberhoffen. The vineyards of this association are the northernmost in Alsace and are more than 60 kilometers away from the nearest French vineyards , but are adjacent to the nearest Palatinate vineyards , geologically and climatically and therefore in terms of taste, belong to the southern Palatinate . The vineyards are mainly located on south and south-west slopes in the wide valley of the Haussauerbach and on Schemperbach and Bremmelbach . In addition, the wines of the companies belonging to the cooperative grow above the Wissembourger hospital Center Hospitalier. The annual production is almost 14,000 hl .
On a total of 200 hectares within the villages of Cleebourg (with predominantly clay and marl soil), Rott (predominantly marl and sandstone soil) , Oberhoffen-lès-Wissembourg , Steinseltz and Riedseltz (loess and loam soil), predominantly white wines are grown: Riesling , Pinot Blanc , Pinot Gris , Auxerrois , Muscat and Edelzwicker .

The tradition of viticulture is great, but the vine cultures were destroyed in the Second World War in favor of the production of basic foodstuffs (→ Reichsnährstand ). This was accompanied by the idea of working as a cooperative in the future. In 1946 the vineyards were replanted with vines and the winegrowers' cooperative was founded. Today all of the 170 or so companies that work exclusively part-time are affiliated with the cooperative.
The company laboratory analyzes the musts and wines using an FTIR spectrometer and can thus quickly determine the analytical key figures for sugar content, alcohol content, total acidity, pH value, volatile acidity, malic and lactic acid, tartaric acid, gluconic acid, nitrogen content, etc.
