Ceán Chaffin

Ceán Chaffin (born June 26, 1957 as Kimberly Cean Chaffin ) is an American film producer .

Life

Chaffin is best known for her work as a producer of films by director David Fincher . The two met in the early 1990s while filming a commercial for Coca-Cola in Japan , which Fincher directed and Chaffin worked as a producer.

At the beginning of her career she produced the music videos Scream by Michael Jackson and Bed Time Story by Madonna, among others . She was mentioned in the credits in Fincher's film Seven from 1995. Since the film The Game , which was completed in 1997, she has produced all of Fincher's films, including B. 2002 Panic Room with leading actress Jodie Foster .

Together with Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall, she received a nomination in the category of best film at the 2009 Academy Awards for the film The Strange Case of Benjamin Button . The film was also nominated at the BAFTA Awards and the PGA Awards .

In 2011 , Chaffin was nominated again for an Oscar for best film for The Social Network through Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg , this time with Scott Rudin , Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti .
