Cem İlkel (born August 21, 1995 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish tennis player .

Career

İlkel mostly plays on the Future Tour and has so far won one title in singles and seven titles in doubles.

He made his debut on the ATP World Tour in 2015 at his home tournament in Istanbul . There, equipped with a wildcard , he was defeated in the first round by Daniel Gimeno Traver 1: 6, 4: 6. His other tournament participation has so far only been possible with a wildcard and each ended in the opening round.

In 2013 İlkel was called up for the first time in the Turkish Davis Cup team for the encounter against Macedonia . In 2015 he won and lost one match each against South Africa . With his win against Ruan Roelofse , he secured the point for Turkey to make it 3-2. Overall, he played 14 times in ten appointments and has a score of 7: 7.
