ChAI-12
The ChAI-12 Start ( Russian ХАИ-12 Старт ) was a Soviet project for a single-engine, single-seat sport aircraft . It was the Kharkiv Aviation Institute's first project after World War II . The aircraft was designed as a low wing aircraft with retractable tail wheel landing gear. The tailplane was attached halfway up. There were automatic slats on the outer wing parts . The project was worked out by D. Arsona, but the plan was never implemented. The plane was not built.
