The ChAI-30 ( Russian ХАИ-30 Профессор Неман ) is a twin-engine, two-seat sport flying boat that was flown for the first time in 1977. It was developed by students at the Kharkov Aviation Institute (now Kharkiv) and was named Professor Neman in honor of Iossif Grigoryevich Neman .

construction

The middle decker has two support floats and a T-tail unit . The two inmates sit next to each other. The engines (2 × 2-cylinder boxer engines) drive 2-blade propellers and are mounted on booms on the right and left behind the cockpit. Only one airplane was made.
