Cha In-pyo (born October 14, 1967 in Seoul ) is a South Korean actor .

Life

He has been married to actress Shin Ae-ra since 1995 . In 1998 she gave birth to a son, and in 2005 and 2008 they adopted two girls. The couple is very active politically and socially. So far, Cha has published two novels dealing with subjects such as suicide and comfort women .

In the film Crossing (2008) he plays a North Korean refugee who needs medication for his wife in North Korea who is suffering from tuberculosis . When he learns of his wife's death, he tries to bring his son to South Korea.

In the disaster film Pandemic (2013) he plays the South Korean President .
