Chaand Kaa Tukdaa ( Hindi चाँद का टुकड़ा cā̃d kā ṭukaṛā ; literally piece of the moon - a compliment for a beautiful woman) is a 1994 Hindi film by Saawan Kumar Tak .

Shyman is a handsome, young and wealthy orphan. He comes to India for the first time to fulfill his late mother's last wish. He is supposed to marry a typical Indian girl so that her roots with Indian culture and traditions remain in India. Shyam is disappointed when his father's friend Hasmukh throws a party in his honor. At the party, he sees nothing of the country's culture and traditions, only western-minded girls who do not correspond to his ideal. Hasmukh tells him that he can only find this traditional way of life in the villages and small hill stations, but not in modern cities like Mumbai . In search of the perfect girl, he then sets off to the villages. In such a village he meets the beautiful and innocent Radha.

Production and publication

Saawan Kumar Tak directed the production of Saawan Kumar Productions , who also acted as producer. Sachin Bhowmick wrote the script . G. Shyam Kumar was in charge of the camera and Jawahar Razdan was responsible for editing.

The film premiered on August 19, 1994 in India. Digital Entertainment released Chaand Kaa Tukdaa on DVD in 2001 in the USA.
