Titular diocese of Chalcis in Graecia
The diocese Chalcis in Graecia ( Latin Dioecesis Chalcidensis in Graecia , Italian diocesi di Calcide di Grecia ) is a titular diocese of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to an earlier diocese of the ancient city of Chalcis on the Greek island of Evia , which was assigned to the ecclesiastical province of Athens .
