The Chang Peak is a 2920 m high and snow-covered secondary summit of Mount Waesche in the Executive Committee Range of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It rises from the northeast slope of the volcano.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) mapped it using its own surveys and Trimetrogon aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1958 to 1960. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1962 after Feng-Keng (Frank) Chang, seismologist on the Byrd Station in 1959 and member of the crew that crossed Marie Byrd Land by land between 1959 and 1960 for exploration purposes.
