The Charaa ( Mongolian Хараа гол , also Kharaa gol or Haraa gol) is a right tributary of the Orkhon in Mongolia with a length of 291 km and a catchment area of ​​15,000 km². In terms of length, it ranks 20th among the rivers in Mongolia.

It originates from Batsümber in Töw-Aimag in the mountains north of Ulaanbaatar and flows along the Ulaanbaatar – Darchan railway through the Selenge-Aimag and Darchan-Uul-Aimag areas . Its tributaries include the Boroo gol and Dsagdal gol rivers . Ultimately it flows into the Orkhon River at Darchan , which flows over the Selenge into Lake Baikal .
