Charkhi Dadri is a city (a Municipal Council since May 31, 2010 ) in the northwest Indian state of Haryana .
The city is located at an altitude of 218 m 90 km west of the federal capital New Delhi . The city was created by merging the villages of Charkhi and Dadri . It is located in the Bhiwani District . The city had 56,337 inhabitants at the 2011 census. It is divided into 19 wards . In Charkhi Dadri, 98 percent of the population is Hindu .
The national trunk road NH 334B runs in a west-east direction through Charkhi Dadri.
